I discovered this one through the “Please Review” tab on the homepage. I am downloading the other two albums by the artist as I type. I realize you are more towards electro(nic)-ambient where as my personal taste lies in accoustic-ambient. Nonetheless it was out of downright curiosity that I chose to listen to your sound.
An ambient album is not a 2-track affair. The objective is to let the listener experience the music. A person will not usually play a particular track off an Ambient CD, the person will most likely play the entire CD again.
I can see where the music wants to go. Focus a bit more on progression in your music and lead it to give a listening experience. I guess this is more of an EP than an album.
I like it… would like to see how the entire album shapes up, especially the accoustic-progression blend(if you choose to put a track on these lines).
I would certainly listen to the entire CD once, when you release it.

Good Morning, Vietnam (1987)

2nd Robin Williams Movie of the week. This movie makes more sense if you have watched Apocalypse Now and Platoon before. They help you put this movie into perspective. So go ahead and watch one of those before you watch this one.
An interesting and entertaining portrayal of the fact that freedom of speech is moderated in a country which is at war for democracy! Every man has to fight the bureaucracy, backstabbing and the hypocrisy of the system. Its not any differnt in India or America. That’s what it is about. You can’t give up because the negatives exist, instead you have to fight with addded vigour as your work makes a positive impact (maybe in the lives of many).
Eventually if you can influence at least one person positively to carry on your work, you have lived and not existed. That’s the whole point of the movie: Living. Living with energy. The energy is contagious and spreads happiness, brings a smile on the faces of many.
As for me, I am downloading the soundtrack right now.

Steal This Film: Part One (2006)

“Entertainment Industry” – the term industry itself indicates they are here to make money with no regard for art. The MPAA should pay compensation to Pirate Bay for the downtime. There are 2 aspects to the entire issue:
ONE:
- Music/Movies/Software companies have to make money to pay the bills.
- Automobile mannufacturers do not give away free cars and airline companies don’t distribute free airline tickets.
- Artists, actors, directors, programmers, etc. have put in time and effort, which needs recognition as well as remuneration.
TWO:
- Music, Movies and Code are not tangible products manufactured for mass consumption. They are art. They are like poetry. No corporation should stop any individual from appreciating art.
- People have always read literature in libraries and admired art in museums. The internet is the modern library/museum of all digital/digitized art forms. How can you stop somebody from accessing the library?
- Internet gives the audience an opportunity to discover artists/movies which would have otherwise been highly unlikely. We don’t want media barons to make the choices for us through their TV channels.
- Car manufacturers(or any tangible product for that matter) provide after-sales service and product gurantees. Wil a music company take back a mp3 from me if I don’t like it after I purchased it? After all the product is in mint condition.
- Will we be paid compensation by Microsoft for the privacy and security loopholes in their propreitary OS? If they don’t take responsibilty then they do not have any right to dictate the software and formats that I should be using on my PC.

Dead Poets Society (1989)

the credits are rolling as i write this. A small poem or something like a poem i have attempted to write.
not writing here about wht the movie is or is not
the honour is that one fought.
the insane hysteria of a template set for life isnt what living is
living is about POSITIVE PEACE.
You exist to Live
Live to be what you want to be,
Live to discover what you want to be.
Peace is in knowing the path to what you want
Positive Peace is walking, running, pacing on this path… in fact it is about choosing your walk(if you’ve seen the movie you know what i’m talking about)
Live to stumble while walking
and even more so live to get back on your feet and continue walking.
When you know you have walked the walk, you will always smile.
