Not Sleeping!

Something stops me from sleeping. I feel I’ll miss out on something if I fall asleep. The same reason why I don’t and/or can’t read a book anymore. I believe something else, something better is happening, will happen and I will not be there to witness it.

Is this a phase? I feel the exact opposite when I wake up after a good night’s sleep. I feel fresh and completely in control of everything around me. I feel I can take on anyone and do just about anything.

I feel creative and ideas just ‘pop’ in my head. But to reach that state of mind, I have to wake up early and have had a good night’s sleep at the same time, means I should retire to bed early, but then currently if I attempt to do that I will feel that I will miss out on something.

So, i have to break this cycle and all my hopes are pinned on the weekend. Weekends are material for a different post. Good night.
